Experienced Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Role in Bath

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Bath on a long-term basis. This exciting opportunity runs from February to July and offers the chance to make a real difference in a Key Stage 1 (KS1) classroom setting.

About the Role

Pay Rate: Β£90 – Β£100 per day
Location: Bath
Hours: Full-time, term-time only

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Providing in-class support to the teacher during lessons.
  2. Supporting small groups with reading and other activities.
  3. Assisting with general classroom duties.
  4. Encouraging pupil engagement and learning progress.

Requirements

  1. Experience: Must have previous experience working within a primary school setting, preferably with KS1 pupils.
  2. DBS Check: A valid and current Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  3. EWC Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  4. Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
