Experienced Teaching Assistant β Long-Term Role in Bath
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Bath on a long-term basis. This exciting opportunity runs from February to July and offers the chance to make a real difference in a Key Stage 1 (KS1) classroom setting.
About the Role
Pay Rate: Β£90 – Β£100 per day
Location: Bath
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing in-class support to the teacher during lessons.
- Supporting small groups with reading and other activities.
- Assisting with general classroom duties.
- Encouraging pupil engagement and learning progress.
Requirements
- Experience: Must have previous experience working within a primary school setting, preferably with KS1 pupils.
- DBS Check: A valid and current Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- EWC Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
