We are seeking a committed Teacher (SEN) to join our specialist school in Canterbury, where every child is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH challenges.
- Support the development of students' emotional regulation, social skills, and independence.
- Work closely with the SEN team, SLT, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for every pupil.
- Contribute to the school's nurturing and inclusive environment, fostering a love of learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Strong experience working in SEN or SEMH settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting children with complex needs.
