Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher (SEN) looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a committed Teacher (SEN) to join our specialist school in Canterbury, where every child is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role:

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH challenges.
  • Support the development of students' emotional regulation, social skills, and independence.
  • Work closely with the SEN team, SLT, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for every pupil.
  • Contribute to the school's nurturing and inclusive environment, fostering a love of learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong experience working in SEN or SEMH settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting children with complex needs.

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential. Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students. 170 - 260 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only. You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship.
