Teacher of Spanish

Academics currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Teacher of Spanish (Modern Foreign Languages) to work in one of their partnership Ofsted rated academies of ‘Good’ in Uttoxeter from September 2024. This position can be either part-time or full-time and will be on a long-term basis. For the right candidate, the role does have the strong possibility of becoming a permanent teaching post.

Our partnership school is known to have a unique curriculum and they eagerly encourage learners to combine theory with practical activities, heavily promoting students to put all learning into practice. Minimum Requirements:

• The relevant Spanish and/or Modern Foreign Languages qualification(s): PGCE, B. Ed, or BA Hons, with a UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Confident communication and motivation skills in the classroom.
• Strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge.
• Ability to adapt quickly within the academy and to be a good team player with staff.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS (cost applied).
