We are working with a fantastic school in Oxford that is currently seeking a Teacher Assistant to join them ASAP on a full-time basis, helping to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for their students. The school supports young people aged 16-19 with mild learning disabilities and is committed to ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive both academically and emotionally.

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support students in reaching their full potential and building brighter futures.

Key Information - Teacher Assistant:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-time, 08:30-15:00 (Term-time only)
  • Pay: £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Location: Oxford

A Teacher Assistant's Day May Include:

  • Supporting students who need extra help with their coursework

  • Has strong communication skills and can explain concepts clearly
  • Is calm, patient, and supportive, particularly with students who may have social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Works well as part of a team alongside teachers and school staff
  • Is adaptable and flexible in different classroom situations
  • Holds at least a Grade C/Level 4 in GCSE Maths and English
  • Has previous experience as a Teacher Assistant - Preferred but not essential
