Are you passionate about supporting children\’s learning in a Welsh medium setting? Academics is currently recruiting for a Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary basis in a variety of schools across Blackwood and the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan area.
About the Role:
Position: Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Blackwood – Various Welsh medium primary and secondary schools
Contract: Temporary (with the potential for long-term or permanent roles)
Pay: £12.00 – £14.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Rate is dependent upon experience, training, qualifications, and client rate available
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Fluent Welsh language skills xiskglj (written and spoken)
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (desirable)
A minimum of Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent (preferred)
A current Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one via Academics)
A genuine passion for supporting children\’s education and development
