About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our thriving department, teaching students aged 11-18. Key Responsibilities
- Teach students according to their educational needs, including setting and marking work to be completed in school and elsewhere.
- Assess, record, and report on the attendance, progress, development, and attainment of students, maintaining accurate records as required.
- Provide or contribute to oral and written assessments, reports, and references for individual students and groups.
- Ensure that ICT, literacy, numeracy, and subject specialisms are effectively integrated into teaching and learning.
- Undertake a designated programme of teaching, ensuring a high-quality learning experience that meets internal and external standards.
- Prepare, plan, and regularly update engaging subject materials.
- Use a range of delivery methods to stimulate learning and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain discipline in line with school procedures, encouraging high standards of punctuality, behaviour, and work.
- Undertake assessment of students as required by examination bodies, departmental policies, and school procedures.
