Academics in Canterbury are looking for compassionate and resilient Supply SEN TA's to support pupils with special educational needs across schools in East Kent, including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone, and Hythe.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs
- Assist with tailored learning activities and classroom inclusion
- Encourage independence, communication, and confidence
- Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support progress
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
- Experience supporting children with SEN (school, nursery, or care setting)
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
- Flexibility to work across different schools and settings
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
