An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on a temporary basis as a KS1 Primary Teacher in a small, friendly school in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school. The lovely school is located in the heart of a small town, in South Staffordshire. This role provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a welcoming and inclusive Key Stage 1 setting within a close-knit school environment. The classes are well established, with motivated and engaged pupils, very strong parental support, and a positive, cooperative staff team.
The Role Includes:
- Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
- Full class KS1 Primary Teacher responsibilities.
- Planning, teaching and assessing in line with the National Curriculum.
- Working collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Long term cover opportunity to cover a minimum of 2 months, with potential of being extended.
We are looking for someone who:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Must have experience teaching as Primary Teacher KS1 (Minimum 2 year's experience)
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Enhanced DBS
- Provide 2 teaching references
- Available to start ASAP
- Confident to take on Primary Teacher planning responsibilities.
- Fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: £140 - £159 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
