We are working with a welcoming primary school in Poynton that is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class on a long-term supply basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with young learners during a crucial stage of their development within a supportive school environment. The position is for Thursday and Friday, providing consistency while still offering flexibility.
The Role
- Supporting pupils in a Reception (Early Years) class
- Working 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday)
- Hours: 8:45am - 3:15pm
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and learning objectives
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
