A welcoming and established early years setting within a busy primary school in Stafford are seeking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a temporary, supply long‑term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing professional to support young children's development within a high‑quality learning environment. The role is available for an immediate start, subject to completion of all necessary safeguarding and compliance checks.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging early years provision, supporting children's early learning and development and ensuring a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of age‑appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Promote children's learning, development and well‑being through structured play and interaction.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress.
  • Help to maintain a safe, clean and nurturing environment in accordance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
What We're Looking For:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential).
  • Paediatric First Aid trained (desirable).
  • Previous experience working within an early years setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, caring and proactive approach at all times.

Pay £93 - £100 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
