Are you a passionate History Teacher looking for your next long-term teaching opportunity? Academics are working with a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to appoint a qualified History Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term position starting Easter (13th April) and running through to Summer (17th July).
This role involves teaching History across KS3 and KS4 and would suit a confident classroom practitioner who can deliver engaging, well-structured lessons and maintain strong behaviour management.
The Role:- Full-time History teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
- Working collaboratively within a supportive Humanities department
- Fixed-term placement from Easter to Summer
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History or a related subject - essential
- Specialism or strong experience teaching History
- Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Confident teaching KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Reliable, professional, and committed for the full duration of the placement
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
