Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Assistant looking for your next exciting opportunity in Southampton? Academics are currently working with a number of fantastic nurseries and primary schools across Southampton, who are seeking Level 3 Nursery Assistants / EYFS Teaching Assistants to join their teams starting ASAP.
You will need to be available Monday to Friday, giving you the chance to build lasting relationships and make a genuine impact in early years education. As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant in Southampton, you will work within vibrant and supportive EYFS settings, helping to deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities that support every child's development. You'll be supporting teachers and key workers in Reception and Nursery classes, providing one-to-one and small group support, and helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
- Support children's learning through play, exploration, and creative activities.
- Assist with planning and delivering lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
- Help with personal care routines and ensure a safe, positive atmosphere.

Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Level 3 Nursery Assistant or EYFS Teaching Assistant.
- A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
- A valid DBS (or willingness to apply for one through Academics).
- The ability to commit to full-time, term-time hours.
