Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties, non-verbal pupils, and learning delays.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to deliver tailored learning activities.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Adapt to different school settings and teaching approaches, providing consistency and care.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in the children you support.

  • Experience working with children with all types of SEN, including non-verbal pupils and those on the autism spectrum.
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple Primary schools.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
