Academics are currently recruiting a reliable and adaptable Primary School Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 pupils across our partner primary schools in and around Skipton.
This role is ideal for an experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of KS2 (Years 3-6), who is confident supporting learning in a range of school settings and understands the flexibility of supply work.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children across Key Stage 2
- Assist the class teacher with delivering pre-planned lessons and activities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
- Help maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Demonstrate a calm, patient and engaging approach
- Be flexible, professional and reliable for short-term, long-term or emergency cover
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and expectations
