Are you a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in Halifax or Huddersfield? Do you have a SENCO qualification? A lovely Secondary School in Halifax is looking for a highly motivated special educational needs coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis as soon as possible!

As a special needs coordinator with Academics, you will be providing support to teachers and students, helping them reach their full potential for SEND teaching and learning. You will be working with children with a wide range of needs and abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to staff
  • Creating or sourcing resources
  • Meeting with outside agencies
  • Making referrals
  • Completing/reviewing EHCP paperwork

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with SLT and other agencies to develop the provision for SEND in the school. You must have a SENDCO qualification to apply for this role.
