A Primary mainstream school in Bristol is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs.

Experience working with children is required. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role, and some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable.

The position will involve working 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil with significant SEN and challenging behaviour. The SEN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour, or have learning disabilities such as Autism.

This Primary school is looking for a confident, dedicated Learning Support Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training, e.g. Team Teach.
