The Role - SEN Teacher (SEMH/ADHD Specialist)
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs and ADHD
- Implement behaviour strategies that promote regulation, engagement, and positive outcomes
- Create a structured, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies
- Support pupils on EHCPs, ensuring targets are met through personalised approaches
- Build strong, trusting relationships that foster emotional resilience and self-confidence
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and barriers
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH and ADHD
- Strong behaviour management skills rooted in understanding and consistency
- A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
