Overview: SEN Support Staff – Walmer is a specialist school in Walmer catering for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This role supports children with complex needs in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with ASC, MLD and PMLD, both 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Assist with personalised learning activities and sensory‑based interventions.
  • Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and independence.
  • Help maintain a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff.
  • Support pupils with daily routines and personal care where required (training provided).

Benefits & Conditions:

  • Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD to ensure safeguarding.
  • Salary: £90–£100 per day, Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30, PAYE, term time only.
  • Right to work in the UK required – no visa sponsorship.
  • On‑site parking included.
