We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with an ASD specialism to support a Year 5 pupil at a welcoming school located in Gillingham, Kent. Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil (Year 5) with ASD
- Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation
- Implement strategies in line with EHCP targets
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children with ASD (school-based preferred)
- Understanding of KS2 curriculum and SEN strategies
