SEN Classroom Mentor Are you looking to empower future minds and make a difference to students with additional needs? Do you have experience working with children but looking for a new challenge? Are you calm and compassionate in all situations? If yes, then this could be the perfect role for you! A fantastic SEN school near Newbury are searching for a Classroom Mentor to work on a 1:1 and group basis with students with special educational needs. The school are looking for someone who can start ASAP who can stay long-term until July 2025. You will be supporting students aged 3 to 18 with a range of needs – Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, physical disabilities and communication difficulties to name a few. As a valued member of staff, you will be supporting the team in dealing with situations ranging from behaviour/well-being situations and emotional regulation. You will also be working closely with the SENCo and class teachers to ensure each student is completing their learning objectives and are supported mentally, emotionally and academically. This wonderful SEN school has many exceptional facilities to support the needs of students. This ranges from Art/IT/Drama rooms, large outdoor field and an exceptional sports hall.
