A lively, nurturing, and child-centred mainstream primary school in Keynsham is seeking a dedicated SEN Classroom Assistant to support pupils across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. As an SEN Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional needs. You may provide 1:1 support or work with small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum, regulate emotions, and develop independence.
Responsibilities- Support pupils across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 in a mainstream primary school.
- Work closely with class teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support for needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional needs.
- Provide 1:1 support or small-group support to help pupils access the curriculum, regulate emotions, and develop independence.
- Contribute to a compassionate, patient, and resilient learning environment that fosters inclusion.

- Full-Time (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) – Term Time Only
- Salary: £80 – £95 per day
- Location: Keynsham
- DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Previous experience with SEN is highly desirable but not essential; relevant experience may include SEN support, care work, youth work, mentoring, tutoring, nursery work, or similar roles supporting children or vulnerable individuals.
