Job Description

Teacher of Science (KS3 & KS4)

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Contract: Full-time

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive Science department in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality science education at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism welcome but not essential)
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity and achievement
Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies
Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum

The Ideal Candidate Will

Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
Have strong subject knowledge in Science
Be passionate about teaching and learning
Be a reflective practitioner committed to professional development
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
