We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive Science department in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality science education at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism welcome but not essential)
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity and achievement
- Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
- Have strong subject knowledge in Science
- Be passionate about teaching and learning
- Be a reflective practitioner committed to professional development
