About the Role

Academics Ltd are seeking a confident and proactive PE Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Swindon. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set Physical Education lessons, supervising practical activities, and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for aspiring PE teachers, sports coaches, or individuals looking to gain further experience within education.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise pre-set PE lessons (practical and theory-based)

* Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a focused learning environment
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed during practical activities
* Promote teamwork, participation, and sportsmanship
* Act as a positive role model for students
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children or young people (coaching, mentoring, sports leadership, etc.)

* Confident leading sports activities and practical sessions
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
