Are you passionate about working with children within EYFS? Do you have experience working within a primary school or a private nursery setting? Are you looking for a full-time role working within a primary school? An 'outstanding' Primary School in the London Borough of Havering are looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant/ Nursery Nurse for immediate start. This is a full time & long-term post for the whole of the academic year. Permanent contracts are available from July 2026.

  • Long term contract until July 2026
  • Permanent from July 2026
  • Term Time Only!
  • Full Time - Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:45pm)
  • Teacher Training available September 2026
  • Β£90-Β£120 per day
  • Local to station
  • Car Park Available

Your Role:

  • Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
  • Hours: 8:30am to 3:45pm
  • Working across Nursery & Reception
  • Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Sessions
  • Assisting with general classroom duties
  • Supporting mild SEN when needed
  • Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare
  • Hold a Level 6 or degree within childcare or education
  • Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Have school based experience ideally or have experience within private nurseries
  • Have an enthusiasm about working in EYFS and with children
  • Work well as a team
  • Good communication
  • Eligible to work in the UK
