An ‘Outstanding’ mainstream primary school in Oxford is seeking a new Reception Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The role is open to teachers who can demonstrate previous experience within an EYFS classroom and hold UK QTS. The school is two-form entry, so comes with the opportunity for shared responsibilities between other Reception classrooms.

The school requires that you:

  • Encourage a love for learning within the classroom
  • Monitor progress and set targets in accordance to individual pupil’s abilities
  • Act as a positive role model for every child
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the EYFS curriculum

The school identifies that success and progress looks different to each child and therefore the ideal candidate will be someone who shares similar values. For the ideal candidate, opportunities for middle leadership and extra responsibilities will be available should they be desired. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to take a step into a new classroom. The school is highly regarded within the community and by Ofsted.
