A fantastic secondary school in London is seeking a Maths Instructor / Graduate Maths Teacher to join their successful Maths department from January to July 2026. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a Maths graduate to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students in KS3, KS4 and A-Level Pure Maths.
About the Role:
- Deliver and support engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3-5 (including A-Level Pure Mathematics)
- Help students develop strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Work closely with qualified Maths teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences
- Provide targeted support for GCSE and A-Level students preparing for exams
- Gain experience in classroom management and effective teaching practice
What We're Looking For:
- A strong academic background in Mathematics or Pure Mathematics (2:1 degree or higher preferred)
- Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
- Confidence explaining complex mathematical ideas clearly and patiently
- A genuine interest in teaching, education and student progress
- Previous tutoring, teaching assistant or mentoring experience is advantageous but not essential
