Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in SEN, mental health and child development? A specialist school in Banbury is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their friendly team, supporting primary and secondary-age pupils in a nurturing and structured environment, starting in September.
The Role:
- Based in a small classroom of 8 children, working closely with the teacher, fellow support staff and therapists.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help students develop communication, independence, and learning skills.
- Supporting children with emotional regulation and social skills, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Using a range of therapeutic strategies such as PECS, Makaton, sensory play, and structured learning techniques.
