We are currently working with a forward‑thinking primary school in Aylesbury that is seeking passionate and motivated graduates to join their team as Mental Health Assistants from October 2025.
About the Role:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Behavioural challenges
As a Psychology Graduate Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help students achieve both academically and emotionally.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree (or expected degree) in Psychology or Criminology
- A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
- A commitment to working full‑time for at least 12 months – consistency is key beschlossen for these students
- Any prior experience working with children (formally or informally) is beneficial, but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and a proactive mindset
