A specialist school in Reading is offering an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to work closely with pupils who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges. This role bridges academic theory and real-world practice, making it an excellent foundation for future postgraduate training.
In this Psychology Graduate role, you’ll support pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, anxiety, SEMH, and trauma-related behaviours, helping them build confidence, emotional resilience, and engagement with learning.
You’ll gain experience in:
- Applying psychological principles in an educational setting
- Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Assisting with personalised support plans and interventions
- Working alongside SEN teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
Role details
- Location: Reading
- Pay: £89–£100 per day
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: Long-term
