Academics are recruiting on behalf of an Alternative Provision in Central Southampton which was set up in September 2022. They provide education to vulnerable young people aged 15 - 19 years.

They are looking for a passionate and caring PSHE Teacher to join them in January 2025 on a full-time, temp to perm contract. This is open to both qualified PSHE Teachers and those with a relevant qualification such as a Psychology Degree and looking to go into teaching.

The suitable PSHE Teacher will be someone who loves working in an alternative education environment, is nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with young people to support them both academically and emotionally, and build their confidence. You must be able to plan and deliver engaging and exciting PSHE lessons to meet their individual learning needs.
