Teaching Assistant – Banbury

Start Date: ASAP / January 2026
Pay: £89–£100 per day

A friendly and supportive primary school in Banbury is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, patient and passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce key skills
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with classroom routines, resource preparation and supervision
• Encourage children’s confidence, independence and progress
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the wider school team

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children (school or similar setting)
• A genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils
• Positive, reliable and eager to develop within education
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
