The predicted salary is between 18000 - 24000 Β£ per year.
Versatile, Empathetic and Caring Individuals Needed to Support a Range of Students with Barriers to Learning. This is a great opportunity to become a positive support mechanism and role model in the lives of Primary School students across York.
You will work as either 1:1 or with groups in helping young people with a range of barriers to learning, to access work set by class teachers and to navigate what can be very challenging days at school. Each day will bring a new challenge and also a new opportunity to help the child overcome daily difficulties and flourish at school.
Doing this through academics means that, instead of committing to a restricting role in a specific school, you can try different schools, different age groups, and different types of SEND support in order to find your place and your career. Your Career, Your Way.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with children.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding in schools.
- Ability to work with initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to putting the needs of children first.
