This is a great position with an outstanding primary school for a hungry graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career LSA, aspiring teacher, educational psychologist or speech and language therapist to thrive in the early stages of your career.
Your role will be based in the classroom alongside the class teacher, assisting with any students that require 1:1 guidance and working with small groups to help complete tasks when required.
This LSA role will give you the foundations to become the best educator you can be and will involve working across the school with a range of pupils with SEN and disabilities including Autism, ADHD and behavioural difficulties. This will help you build your experience and knowledge with a range of children which is needed when either becoming a teacher or educational psychologist or therapist – A great way for you to develop!
The role of an SEN Learning Support Assistant provides challenges and rewards in equal measures and every day will be different. This role doesn’t require much experience and this school is open to training motivated individuals as long as you are dedicated, reliable and have a genuine passion working with primary aged children who need additional support.
