Academics Agency are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience or a deep desire to support learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
Your Role:
Position: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD Specialism)
Location: Worksop, South Yorkshire
Schedule: Term-time only, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Rate: £88.94 – £110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)

We Are Looking For Someone With:
A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience or a strong, demonstrable interest in supporting individuals with PMLD or complex physical and learning needs.
Understanding of specialist approaches such as sensory storytelling, switch skills, and promoting communication through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) where applicable.
A patient, positive, and proactive attitude, with a focus on promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
A firm commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
