Academics are recruiting an Outreach Tutor in High Wycombe to work with a small caseload of disengaged or vulnerable learners who require personalised, community-based educational support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke academic and pastoral sessions to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
- Work in learners' homes, libraries, community centres, and other local settings.
- Help students regain confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and make progress towards reintegration into school or alternative provisions.
- Maintain resilient and adaptable support, with strong behaviour management skills.
- 1:1 teaching and the ability to tailor instruction to individual learning styles.
- Support the learner in flexible, one-to-one environments to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Receive full training and ongoing support from the client.
