Job Description: As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children in a nursery. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver a high standard of care and education, ensuring the well-being and development of each child in your care.
Responsibilities:

Provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying their individual needs and interests.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.

Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.

Maintain accurate records of children’s development and activities, including daily observations and assessments.

Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.

Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
