Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistant (LSAs) candidates to work in supportive primary schools across the Neston area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a primary school environment.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored learning support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support
  • Support children with SEN, SEMH, or EHCPs where required
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or care setting
  • Experience supporting SEN or additional needs is desirable but not essential
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
