Mental Health Youth Worker A fantastic school in the heart of Maidenhead are looking for graduates who want to make a difference in supporting vulnerable students. The school looking to hire a Mental Health Youth Worker are based in Maidenhead and cater for students between the ages of 4 and 16, a nice mix of primary and secondary ages! They support students who have a primary diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) which impacts the way they learn, communicate and process emotions. Children who struggle with ASD also have troubles with their mental health and need support to work through tricky emotions. They are looking for someone to come in and support them in the classroom, with their education and ensure that they are able to access their learning in ways that are beneficial to them. Each student has a specific learning plan, designed for their needs. It is intended to meet them where they are. You will follow this plan with the guidance of the class teacher.
