Job Description
As a mental health assistant you will directly be involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health.\\n\\nThese young students struggle with challenging mental health such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD and post-traumatic stress disorder. Your main duties as a mental health support assistant will include providing support to these students, to help them settle into their routines in school and minimise triggering situations as much as possible. \\n\\nThese young people need someone who can facilitate a positive and safe environment for them to learn and grow.
You will gain valuable experience in the sector and have the chance to shadow other professionals in the field.\\n\\nThe ideal candidate would have some experience working with vulnerable children or young people.
