Salary: 130 – 180 per day
Contract Type: Long Term / Temp / Day-to-Day

About the Role
Academics is proud to be working with a range of secondary schools across Colchester who are seeking passionate and reliable Maths Teachers to join their teams. This Maths Teacher role can be full-time or part-time, with opportunities for both short-term cover and longer-term placements. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with the potential to support students preparing for their GCSE exams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students preparing for GCSE exams
- Maintain engaging classroom environments and strong behaviour management
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 & KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A flexible and positive approach to teaching
