Maths Teacher – Basingstoke – ASAP start! Academics are recruiting on behalf of a small secondary school in Basingstoke who are looking to appoint a passionate and empathetic Maths Teacher to join them ASAP. They are a short stay school for learners who have been permanently excluded, or are at risk of exclusion. They have the capacity to support up to 42 learners on site and also offer outreach services to support young people in mainstream schools who are facing barriers to inclusion. They also support up to 20 learners through home tuition who, for medical reasons, are unable to attend school. The suitable Maths teacher will be emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and be able to deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum that develops learners' Maths knowledge and skills, from KS3 – KS4. You will ideally have experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school although this role is open to all.
