Key Responsibilities:
  • Play an active role in managing the behaviour of students with Social, Emotional, Communication, and Interaction Difficulties on a daily basis.
  • Support the Team Leader in implementing ongoing behavioural interventions to ensure positive outcomes for students.
  • Maintain and promote effective communication between staff members, ensuring a cohesive approach to behaviour management across the school.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to deliver a holistic approach to student development and well-being.
  • Adapt behaviour support plans as necessary, ensuring students receive the appropriate support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Uphold safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

  • Experience in a leadership or support management role within an educational or care setting, ideally working with students with SEMH and ASD.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.

  • A deep understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to supporting vulnerable learners.
