Are you a Sports Science, Sport Psychology or Psychology student/graduate looking to gain hands‐on experience within education, mental health or youth work? We are currently working with both mainstream and specialist SEN schools across East Kent who are seeking enthusiastic, resilient and passionate Sport and Sport Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants, Behaviour Support Mentors and Sports Coaches.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a future career in sport psychology, clinical psychology, mental health, education, social work or youth justice. Both part‐time and full‐time positions are available, with flexibility around studies or placement years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH, ADHD, Autism and behavioural needs
  • Support students with emotional regulation and social skills through positive, sport‐based and structured interventions
  • Assist with classroom learning, physical activities and mentor sessions
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams to promote inclusion and positive behaviour

Many of the pupils you will support respond extremely well to sports‐based mentoring, routine, teamwork and positive role models, making this a perfect entry role for someone from a sport or psychology background.

Ā£85 – Ā£100 per day, Mon‐Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only.

You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply – no Visa sponsorship. On site parking included.
