Academics Ltd are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our team on a long-term supply basis in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional SALT to support children across Guildford primary schools, ensuring they receive the intervention and guidance needed to thrive in their learning journey.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored therapy sessions to children in local primary schools with a range of communication needs.
  • Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to embed effective communication strategies into the classroom.
  • Carry out assessments, create therapy plans, and monitor pupil progress across Guildford schools.
  • Support children with speech sound difficulties, language delay, and social communication challenges.

Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration (or working towards).
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting in or around Guildford.
