Academics is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and resilient tutor to work with a child with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Autism.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualised, sensory-led learning tailored to the child’s needs
- Create a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment
- Support emotional regulation, communication, and engagement
- Work closely with families, professionals, and Academics’ support team
- Sessions may take place in the home or alternative provision
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or exceptionally experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong SEND background
- Proven experience with PMLD and/or Autism and SEMH
- Strong behaviour management and trauma-informed practice
