Academics have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Cover Supervisor to join an amazing SEN all through school in Basingstoke. The school caters for pupils with Autism and other associated needs.
This is a temp to perm contract working 32.5 hours per week, term-time to start ASAP.
Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 annually (FTE). Pro-rata approximately £22,916 - £24,075.
As a Senior Cover Supervisor, you will encourage pupils to become independent learners by providing support for their welfare and all aspects of school life. You will also be expected to plan and prepare lessons with teachers, as well as develop and prepare resources for learning activities.
The suitable Senior Cover Supervisor must have experience of supporting children with SEN, in particular Autism, ideally within an SEN setting. You must have a Degree or equivalent, and/or relevant experience of covering or teaching whole classes.
