Academics are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in Fulham, seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your role will be key in promoting inclusive learning and managing behaviour positively.
Location: Primary school, Fulham
Start Date: September start
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a child in nursery with SEN such as Autism and ADHD
- Promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour management
- Help create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
- Liaise effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress
