A specialist school in Canterbury is seeking a Behaviour Specialist to join their team, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Pupils benefit from a structured, nurturing and trauma‐informed approach that helps them engage positively with learning and everyday school life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them regulate emotions and engage positively with learning.
  • Implement behaviour support plans and promote positive behaviour strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to provide consistent support.
  • Help pupils develop emotional resilience, self‐regulation and social skills.
  • Create a calm, safe and structured environment for learning.
What we're looking for:
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, trauma or challenging behaviour.
  • Backgrounds in Psychology, Criminology, Youth Work, Mental Health, Social Care or similar are highly desirable.
  • Calm, resilient and confident in managing behaviour.
  • Passionate about making a genuine difference in pupils' lives.

£85 – £95 per day, Mon‐Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term‐time only.
