High Wycombe Primary School is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated early years team. This role is offered on a 0.4 contract (2 days per week), starting in December 2025 or January 2026, with opportunities for both permanent and long-term supply contracts.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and caring practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children in their early development. Applicants must demonstrate experience and/or skills in supporting pupils within the classroom, as well as delivering individual or small group interventions to enhance learning and progress.
It is essential that candidates hold a relevant Ofsted-approved Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above. In addition, the ideal applicant will:
- Have strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Be positive, flexible, and adaptable to a range of learning environments
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Show initiative in supporting both learning and pupil well-being
